Ignite Uganda is a discipleship program of the church aimed at mentoring youth during their six month break after completing secondary (high) school.
Each year in January, between 6 to 10 youth are selected to undergo classroom lessons, participate as a volunteer in a ministry of their choice as well as engage in paid work.
Classroom lessons include topics such as Inductive Bible Study, foundations of the Christian faith, apologetics, practical ministry skills (e.g. skits, oral Bible study and children’s songs) and book discussions. The ministries in which the students may volunteer or work include the school, PFK Saturday Kids Club, medical outreach, worship, media, ushering and facility maintenance.
